Wilhelm Gesenius

Wilhelm Gesenius Heinrich Friedrich Wilhelm Gesenius (3 February 1786 – 23 October 1842) was a German orientalist, Lutheran, and Biblical critic. He is credited, among other things, with the reconstructed pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton, "Yahweh." Provided by Wikipedia
